How do I load an mzXML File?

  • Prerequisites
  1. A project and a single-sample analysis as part of that project.
  • Steps
  1. Go to File > New Level Analysis ....
  2. Select Raw Data Analysis as analysis type.
  3. Select mzXML Provider.
  4. Click on Browse ... to chose an mzXML file.
  5. Click Next >.
  6. Select a single-sample analysis in the list on the right.
  7. Click Finish.
  • Notes
  1. Prequips currently only supports mzXML 2.0 and mzXML 2.1.
  2. It's recommended to move mzXML files to the local hard disk and load them from there if they are larger than 100 MB.


How do I create a new Project?

  • Steps
  1. Go to File > New Project ....
  2. Enter Name.
  3. Type something into the Directory field. Currently ignored but has to be filled in.
  4. Click Finish.
  • Notes
  1. Currently projects can't be stored.
